FIRST ONE IN LAST ONE OUT
Pauxs is placed in the entrance of your house, and serves a very important role. It is the first furniture piece you interact with coming home and the last one leaving the house. Although it is one furniture piece it has different functions for coming and leaving home.
A CANVAS TO CURATE
PAUXS is very minimal in form which creates opportunities to curate certain areas of the furniture. The long base allows you to curate your shoes. It is the very first piece of furniture your guests will see, it is the first impression of who you are.
LINE OF SYMMETRY
There is a thin yellow line that runs across the mirror that creates a bold detail aesthetically. It also serves as composition tool for the user, to align their clothing to make sure that they are stepping out with their best foot forward.
X MARKS THE SPOT
The graphic X at the base invites users to step up to the mirror with a subtle yellow detail to draw them towards the center.
